In 2016, HTML5 compatible videos replaced older QuickTime format movies (and their need for an associated plug-in).

However, my presentations on Semiconductor Crystals, Nanocarbon and DNA structures still use the now obsolete/insecure Shockwave/Flash plug-in (allowing users to manipulate their 3D objects). I am still searching for a secure replacement media technology.
